PFAW (Permission for Aerial Work) Rules
The operation restrictions that form part of our PFAW that are of most importance are listed below and copied from our Permission:
Restrictions in all Classes:
(b) Must not fly at a height exceeding 400 feet above the ground.
(c) Must not fly at a distance beyond the visual range of the person in charge of said aircraft, or a maximum range of 500 meters unless a lesser radio transmission has been specified by the Manufacturer.
(d) Must not fly directly overhead or within 150 meters of an open air assembly of more than 1,000 people
Restictions in Classes 7 kg or more:
(m) Must not fly directly overhead or within 150 meters of any congested area of a city, town or settlement.
